York House Leisure (YHL) is showcasing its four award-winning North Yorkshire holiday parks alongside its new residential park at the Caravan, Motorhome & Holiday Show.

Visitors to the show will be able to find out more about the homes and lodges available at York House, Abbots Green, Monk Park and Old Hall holiday parks.

And they'll also have the chance to learn more about the company's immaculate new residential site, Gateforth Park, where homes have been in high demand since the new development launched just over two years ago. Aimed at the over 50s, it is now 47 per cent occupied and continues to welcome new residents every month.

The park, which is situated next to Selby Golf Club, is being developed over three phases, with phase 1 already sold out and phase 2 well underway. Once complete, the park will comprise 168 homes, two private fishing lakes, woodland, a dog walking area, a shop, and a community centre with feature lake. Phase 2, where homes are now available, includes the stunning Lakeside area with exclusive fishing pegs at the end of each garden.

For those looking to escape urban areas for a more tranquil, spacious environment, Gateforth Park’s location is perfect. Nestled in a secluded setting in the pretty Vale of York, the park is however very well connected to a wealth of leisure and retail opportunities. From the neighbouring Golf Club to Thorpe Willoughby village and the market town of Selby, not to mention the cities of Leeds and York or the stunning North York Moors and the Yorkshire Coast, there is so much within easy reach to satisfy all interests and needs.

Gateforth Park offers everything you’d expect from a high-quality residential park: immaculately kept grounds, the security and flexibility of a gated site with live-in managers, the generally lower maintenance and running costs of the homes, and a friendly community of like-minded residents.

Alongside this, it also has some exceptional features. The generosity of the plot sizes is very appealing, with well spaced-out homes and ample gardens. This is enhanced by the extensive communal green space and wonderful views across open countryside.

The wide range of premium park homes is another attraction. Each home offers stylish and spacious fully-furnished interiors, high-spec kitchens and an ensuite bathroom to the main bedroom. And they all come with a reassuring 10-year warranty.
